Private Charters on The Desert Belle:  Saguaro Lake  Sightseeing Cruises

The Desert Belle is available for private cruises. Rates are based on 90 minute cruises and vary with the number of passengers.

If interested in a private charter aboard the Desert Belle, you are just three easy steps away from booking a fantastic memory!

1. Download and Print the Contract and the Information Packet
2. Complete both the contract and the second page of the info packet indicating your specific requests for the private charter.
3. Send them to us:  We will check the date requested for availability

THE DETAILS

The base charter lasts 2 hours at $1000 for the first 50 passengers and then $18/person (includes tax) after that for a charter with a maximum of $1900 for up to 125 people. However, charters may be extended in half hour increments at a rate of $4/person with a minimum of $200 per additional 30-minutes and maximum of $400.  A set gratuity rate of 10% will be added to all private charters.

Charters may be scheduled anytime OTHER than when the public cruises are scheduled without incurring additional fees. If a public trip is cancelled to book your charter, there may be an additional fee applied.  To check the public cruise schedule, please contact the Desert Belle at charters@desertbelle.com
In most cases, you are able to board the Desert Belle 30 minutes before scheduled departure for any preparations, decorating, etc. If earlier boarding is necessary, $35/half hour will be charged.

Charters will begin at scheduled time whether or not the boat has left the docking area. Delayed departure will not extend scheduled re-dock time.

Charters may be catered or you may bring your own food aboard. If you choose to bring your own food/beverages a $150 setup/cleanup fee will be charged with no fee if catered. Bringing your own beverages or alcohol on board is strictly forbidden.

The Desert Belle Tour Boat is set up to seat 125 passengers with some tables as well. If you need a specific set-up for your private charter please present your questions to the Charter Consultant.

The stereo system is MP-3 compatible or you may bring your own CDs for music. You must bring the specific connecting wire from your MP-3 player to the universal port on the stereo. The stereo system is above the Captain and sound can be heard on speakers throughout the boat (fore deck, aft deck and center cabin included).

You may have your private charter to include the narrated tour.  A microphone will be available for your use with announcements, speeches, etc. Children under 13 years of age must wear a life jacket. There are restrooms aboard the Desert Belle and the Desert Belle is handicap accessible.
